Socks have been all over this spring's runway shows for 2010… Socks with high heels, knee high socks, scrunched down socks, silk socks, cutout socks, you name it. I am a huge fan of this look in fact I have been known to sport a few socks with a bright colored espadrille in my time, and it’s not a new detail . In the 90’s both Dolce & Gabbana and Prada put black socks on their models showing their proud heritage of the Italian grandma (Nona) or the Sicilian traditional look. And among all the designers focusing on the chic little knick-knacks of sock ideas the one that stands out the most is the socks with open toe sandals that really made the outfits stand out. The Sock look might not be practical for many to wear but there is definitely something so subtly chic, sexy and stylish about adding a pair of socks to a great outfit and a Fabulous pair of shoes, I'm in.
